As well as researching and promoting general awareness of online privacy issues, the Online Privacy Foundation aims to ensure that you, the individual internet user, gets easy to understand advice for making the most of your online experience.
We will aim to do this through our blog posts, Facebook and Tweets, working with the media (although this can be less controllable), specific advice on this page about the implications of the latest research, and through engagement within local communities where resources allow – we would be happy to consider requests for presentations, talks etc.
We are still a young and resource-challenged organisation, so we are sorry if you can’t find the advice you are looking for on this page at the moment. We hope however that the discussion generated in our blog posts, Facebook and Twitter pages does already reveal quite a lot of useful information.
