What we do with the information we gather

The information we collect will be used in statistical analysis to see whether its possible to determine personality traits from Twitter activity. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so. Data is initially collected on servers located in the United States and is then transfered to a server in the United Kingdom for analysis. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place reasonable physical and electronic controls to secure the information we collect. Access to personal information is tightly controlled to ensure unauthorised parties do not have access.

How we use cookies

We use a session cookie to ensure that only authorised users, that is users who have signed in to the application via Twitter, can submit answers to the questionnaire. No personal information is stored in this cookie. All that is stored is a Session Identifier.
